"Jamie's Cryin" is a 1978 song by Van Halen from their debut Van Halen. The song was written and recorded live during the three week sessions for the album.
The song discusses a woman who engages in one-night stands and is disappointed when no relationship forms out of them. Drummer Alex Van Halen identifies this song as his least favorite Van Halen song.
Rapper Tone Lōc sampled the song heavily on the hit "Wild Thing", without giving the band credit or seeking permission. Van Halen did not sue him, however.
